PACKAGE DESIGN
Hoa Binh Beer & Beverages (HBB) is a company within the Hoa Binh Group, with factory located in Bac Ninh province, near Ha Noi. In 2014, HBB entered the beverages market, and Form was hired to develop the brand name and package for their new range of products, including Laranja and 7 others. Form also worked on the new corporate identity system for HBB.
Their Orange juice soft drink was one interesting product we worked on at the beginning of this project. We need to come up with a name that differentiate it from others on the market, yet need to be related to the product category.
Given the brief that the main ingredient of this product is orange juice imported from Brazil. “Laranja”, Orange in Portuguese, is the winner among tens of other we submitted, and it has been chosen by the client within the first round of presentation.
Yellow, Orange and Blue were used to create contrast to the package. It is also to familiarized within the orange juice product category. To emphasis more on the root of the product, we bring the yellow diamond shape from the Brazil flag onto the design of the packaging.
We then applied the design onto the 330ml can, a six packs wrap, and carton box.
